SCHOOL???????

Well Claire decided that after the two week break from school she didn't want to go back. I thought, oh she'll get over it but, No......all weekend she kept saying l'm not going, l hate it there, l havent got any friends, they dont speak or play, well this went on and when it got to Sunday evening we had lots of tears and by the time it had got to Monday morning she looked terrible and the crying started, so there l was walking her round and standing by the classroom, both of us in tears.....
Claire knows an english girl that goes to another school nearby and so today we took Claire and enrolled her there; at least she'll know a face in the playground and is a lot more enthusiastic about going, even if l have had to pay out for another uniform.......this one is green and yellow and has a wide brimmed hat, she looks proper ozzie....
I know that l should have been firmer but under the circumstances, no house yet, missing friends ect. l found it too upsetting to see her so unhappy about something l could change.
Just hope we find a house near the schools LOL
so we should all be happy bunnies tommorow morning.

Oh Tracie what a difficult time for you both, I think you did exactly the right thing and I really hope and pray that Claire settles real quick and that God sends a special friend for her.

Parenthood is by no means the easiest job in the world and I have learnt that as a mum you have to just do what feels right for your child - even if it means going against the grain or doing something out of the 'norm'

you're mum, you know best!
Praying for you and sending hugs across the world!

Hiya Tracie,

You did right, so don't worry about it! 'No Worries'!

I will always remember Claire's lovely smile. I remember how she didn't want to be left in discoverers with me when she was younger and would arrive crying, but she always settled in and shes grown up into a lovely girl. She will settle in fine. He's got her right in His hand.

aaahhhh thanks you two. I think Claire had a bit of a cry at lunch time break but generally is happier at that school. All the staff are really friendly and they put claire in the class of the english friend from brentwood also there are two other english girls that migrated recently.
l think its just hit home for claire that shes not going back....
she was a very popular girl and is missing really good christian friendships that shes had for years.
